Salah Sweeps the Public Vote

According to the public poll conducted by BBC Sport, Salah dominated the voting with 83%, being crowned the best player in the world currently, far ahead of his closest competitors.

The voting results were as follows:

  • Second place: Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid forward, with 9%.
  • Third place: Brazilian Vinícius Júnior, Mbappé’s teammate, with 4%.
  • Fourth place: Spanish Lamine Yamal, Barcelona star, with 2%.
  • 2% of voters selected another player, without naming them.

Salah Leads Liverpool to the Top

At 32 years old, Salah has played a key role in leading Liverpool to the top of the Premier League standings with 64 points, 11 points ahead of second-place Arsenal. He also helped secure the team's direct qualification for the Champions League Round of 16 after topping their group.
